Our Chemical Engineering formation is the best option for you if you are interested in chemistry, including analytical chemistry, structure analysis, organic chemistry, medicines, plastics, petrochemistry, materials science, and you would like to participate with creative ideas in the development of processes, new materials, or new technologies, or even to participate in the production of valuable chemicals. Students in the program receive a thorough introduction to basic areas of engineering. Part of the education is specialisation in the 5th semester. The graduated students can continue their studies in our MSc program.
For our BSc program the general requirement is an eligible highschool diploma; document of English language proficiency* and successful admission tests. Detailed information on the general admission procedure (deadlines and requirements) can be found on our E-admission page*
You can study at BME with a scholarship or as a self-funded student, by paying tuition fees. Various scholarships help you cover tuition fees and your living expenses during your studies. Successful PhD students may receive additional support from research grants.
Students acquire a profound theoretical knowledge in different fields of chemistry, including up-to-date laboratory skills, along with the required knowledge of mathematics, physics or management. They get practical experience in typical tasks emerging in the everyday work of a chemical engineer.

Students in the BSc program receive a thorough introduction to basic areas of engineering. BSc graduates can take part in industrial technology or trade activities, in R&D or planning projects and in public administration. The part of the education is a specialisation from the fifth semester This may amelirate the knowledge of the students e.g. in the field of analytical chemistry and structure analysis, process engineering or pharmaceutical technology. BSc graduates can find an employment directly, or can continue their studies in our MSc in Chemical Engineering program.
