The higher education institutions participating in the UniSpace Hungary Consortium have launched three-semester interdisciplinary post-graduate programmes in 4 fields: space technology specialist, innovative nutrition and space health specialist, space science specialist, space policy advisor. With the University of Veterinary Medicine, Andrássy University, Gábor Dénes University and Milton Friedman University joining, now twenty-one universities offer space science programmes in English from this year on.

The leaders of the universities involved signed the amendment to the UniSpace Hungary Consortium Agreement in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The event was addressed by Orsolya Ferencz, Ministerial Commissioner for Space Research, László Bódis, Deputy State Secretary for Innovation of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation, and József Bódis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Pécs. They both praised the achievements of the UniSpace programme so far and expressed their confidence in its continuation.

On behalf of the universities, Gergely Deli, Rector of the National University of Public Service, Péter Bihari, Deputy Rector for Education of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, László Csernoch, Deputy Rector for Science of the University of Debrecen, and Lénárd Darázs, Deputy Rector General of Eötvös Lóránd University welcomed the participants. They all stressed the importance of the UniSpace programme, which is currently unique in the Hungarian higher education structure.
