The MEFOB Feszt took place at the beginning of May, organised by the Hungarian University and College Sports Association (MEFS). The three-day festival, the biggest event in university sport in Hungary, featured competitions in 13 sports, with BME students winning a total of 19 medals.
The men’s water polo final was attended by BME Rector Hassan Charaf. He was personally invited by Semmelweis University Rector Béla Merkely, a former waterpolo player, who officiated the match.
