Inspiring career paths of the BME alumni

Choosing BME means that you pretty much won’t have reason to worry about finding a great job with an above-than-average salary, because our alumni data shows exactly this! The majority of BME graduates find a job after receiving their degree in less than a month, which signals the high demand for these young professionals. But money isn’t everything: your career path should represent everything you hold important in life. Excitement, endless possibilities, pursuing your dreams! We collected some of our alumni’s amazing stories, check them out and maybe you’ll be even more inspired!

Imagine, that you kick-off your career at a Formula1 team, or as a developer in the automotive industry. Or you become an engineer of a leading construction firm, or the founder of your own architecture studio… These can all come true as a graduate of BME. In six short videos, former students tell stories about academic success, social life, and the way the university training boosted their career. We truly have an amazing alumni, and we would like to show you some of their most exciting career paths!

 

Lat’s start with Dr. Sándor Kling, the Technical Director of Kling Kft., who in this video talks about his current position, his past successes with the BME Formula Racing Team, and his responsibilities as a mechanical engineer at the Red Bull Formula 1 Team.

Tamás Gál, the Chief Technology Officer of Rákosy Glass Kft., tells us how he had got a chance at the leading flat glass processing firm in Hungary after his civil engineering studies.

Péter Müllner and Zoltán Major talk about architecture, the opportunities provided by the architect training and the story of founding the Partizán Architecture studio.

László Szőke is one of the first graduates of the Autonomous Vehicle Control Engineer major. Besides the academic training, he talks about his traineeship at Robert Bosch Kft. which also inspired his Ph.D. research.

After she completed her BSc studies at the Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering, Eszter Dózsa chose BME again. She currently studies at the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at the MSc level. She talks about how she became a trainee at Knorr-Bremse R&D Center and the inspiring international scholarship opportunities she achieved at BME.

Adorján Kovács is a Ph.D. student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. From his interview, we learn how he leads a research project in cooperation with an international industrial partner.
